Dover ended the season on a high with a convincing 8 -2 win against their East Kent rivals Ramsgate.
Dover started very brightly with Eddie Woolston opening the scoring with a fine individual goal and he then went on to score a further 4 goals scoring a impressive 5 goals in a game.
With Shy Lever Lever scoring and TB scoring a audacious chip plus Kane Randall scoring his first goal for the club with a fine 25 yard free kick Dover were now playing with a confidence and flair that was a joy to see.
With the game won and a full 18 strong squad in place, many changes were made with only Captain Hayden Telles playing the full game due to trying to score against his old side and he came very close on a number of occasions but that elusive goal was just not meant to be after many a fine effort.
The whole DAFC 13’S Squad can be very very proud of their efforts this season playing at a much higher level in a new side. All the boys have improved as players and with plenty of hard work and focus they can continue to carry on improving whilst going into next season full of confidence.
I would like to thank Riccardo for all his great work he has done with the boys this season, Clint and James for all their support and work over the course of this year and the biggest thank you must go to every player who has worked so hard this season. My final word of thanks goes to the parents who make the big effort to get their sons to training and to the matches every Sunday.
